Minutes--April 15, 1991 651 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />APRIL 15, 1991 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, Don Eckert, Alon <br />Wieland, Steve Risher and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Risher seconded that the minutes <br /> of the April 1 coordinated management system meeting and <br /> April 1 regular meeting be approved as written. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />MINUTES OF MARCH 18, 1991, Name correction approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to correct the <br /> minutes of March 18, 1991, on page 639 changing the name of <br /> a Road Advisory Committee member to William Thompson <br /> instead of Robert Thompson· Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Approved as amended <br />The Chairman asked for a consensus to amend the consent agenda to <br />include a request from Old Broadway for a special event permit and a <br />request for budget amendment for contracted legal services to review <br />the draft Cass County personnel policy manual. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland asked that the request from Old Broadway for a special <br />event permit be placed on the regular agenda to allow for further <br />discussion since the request wasn't received in time to include it in <br />the agenda packets mailed to commissioners prior to the meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Eckert asked that the North Dakota Department of Transportation <br />agreement for construction and maintenance, resolution and right of <br />way certificate for Drain 13 structure east of Gardner be removed from <br />the agenda today because County Engineer Don Richards said the State <br />hasn't approved the project on their bidding schedule yet. <br /> <br />Hearing no objections, the agenda stands as amended. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL DRAFT, Budget amendment for legal services <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded that the Cass <br /> County Commission authorize the Human Resource Portfolio <br /> Commissioner and the States Attorney to procure contracted <br /> legal services to review the draft Cass County personnel <br /> policy manual at a cost not to exceed $1,000, to be paid <br /> from the Human Hesource Department budget. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br /> <br />
