Minutes--March 18, 1991 638 <br /> <br />ge <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />MARCH 18, 1991 (MONDAY) <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Gene Shannon, Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint and Alon Wieland. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes <br /> of the previous meeting of March 4, 1991, be approved as <br /> written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Northern Plains Rabbit Breeders Association <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to grant a raffle <br /> permit to Northern Plains Rabbit Breeders Association on <br /> October 19, 1991, at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out of <br /> state travel for Lhonda Lewis, Social Services employee, to <br /> attend a workshop in Minneapolis on May 17, 1991, as <br /> requested. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT OF JOHN DALRYMPLE III, Fargo Dome Authority <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to recommend that <br /> the Fargo City Commission reappoint John "Jack" Dalrymple <br /> III as Cass County representative on the Fargo Dome <br /> Authority for a second three-year term to expire April 1, <br /> 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COURTHOUSE, JAIL AND EX-RESIDENCE, Improvements/preventive maintenance <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the <br /> Chairman to sign agreements dated February 28, 1991, with <br /> Yeater, Hennings, Ruff, Shultz, Rokke Architects, Ltd. for <br /> courthouse and jail improvements and preventive maintenance <br /> program for the courthouse and jail. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD AND STREET REPAIRS, Annual disbursements approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve 1991 <br /> disbursement of road and street repair funds to the <br /> following cities: West Fargo--S29,848; Hunter--S803; <br /> Leonard--S380; Fargo--S253,573; Buffalo--S390; Arthur-- <br /> $579.
