Comm. Minutes--December 18, 1990 582 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize the <br />conversion of compensatory time to cash in the amount up to <br />$2,108 for Sidney Schock and Diana Schell-Peterson, as <br />referred to the Cass County Commission. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to continue the <br />eligibility specialist position as recommended and that it <br />be reviewed during the 1992 budget development for Social <br />Services. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PAYROLL DEDUCTION, Approved for Eyecare Associates and Denticare <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize <br /> payroll deductions, as recommended by the Personnel <br /> Director, for employees who signed up with Eyecare <br /> Associates and Denticare. (Meets all requirements under <br /> existing policy.) On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />HOLMEN SUBDIVISION, Change order and final payment approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve <br /> change order for Holmen Subdivision special assessment <br /> district and approve payment to contractor and engineer as <br /> requested. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />PARLIAMENTARIAN FOR COMMISSION PROCEEDINGS, Joyce Schepp appointed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Commission <br /> Secretary Joyce Schepp be appointed as reference <br /> parliamentarian for Cass County Commission proceedings for <br /> the year 1991, since she has completed formal education at <br /> North Dakota State University in Parliamentary Law and <br /> Procedures. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />ELECTION PROCEDURES, Update by Auditor-elect <br />Mike Montplaisir, Auditor-elect, met with three groups of people <br />involved in the election process and now has a clearer understanding <br />of what the problems have been. He hopes to have an outline of an <br />election procedures manual prepared by late January. Mr. Eckert met <br />with District #22 representatives, and they intend to submit <br />suggestions for further combining precincts in that district. Mr. <br />Shannon asked Mr. Montplaisir for an update after their next meeting. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM CONTRACT, Approval delayed <br />Personnel Director Geoffrey Riches sent a memo to the Commission dated <br />November 20, 1990, recommending approval of a proposed contract <br />between St. Alexius Medical Center/Heartview Foundation and Cass <br />County to administer an Employee Assistance Program for county <br />employees. Such services will be provided on a "pay as you go" basis <br />rather than requiring a set amount regardless of usage. <br /> <br /> <br />
