Minutes--December 18, 1990 580 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />DECEMBER 18, 1990 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with four members <br />present as follows: Oscar Sondrail, Alon Wieland, Don Eckert and Gene <br />Shannon. Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint was absent. <br /> <br />This day was proclaimed "Oscar Sondrall Day" in recognition of <br />Mr. Sondrall's completion of 18 years of service as a Cass County <br />Commissioner. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the <br /> minutes of the last regular meeting of December 4, 1990, <br /> and the December 10, 1990, coordinated management system/ <br /> strategic planning meeting be approved as written. Motion <br /> carried· <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR BINGO, Kindred Future Homemakers of America MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve a <br /> bingo permit for the Kindred Future Homemakers of America <br /> on January 8, 15, 22, 29 and February § and 14, 1991, at <br /> Kindred High School. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Chaffee Summer Recreation Program MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve a <br /> raffle permit for Chaffee Summer Recreation Program for <br /> March 9, 1991, to be held at Chaffee Public School. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS, Recommendations by accountant MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize the <br /> creation of a capital projects fund for the purchase and <br /> improvement of the Gethsemane property and to transfer <br /> $130,000 from the General Fund to this newly created fund. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize the <br /> transfer of $40,000 from the General Fund to Cass County <br /> Model Fund. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to transfer any <br /> remaining balance of the Emergency Poor levy to the County <br /> Poor Fund and credit all future delinquent tax collection <br /> from this discontinued levy to the County Poor Fund <br /> (approximately $3,700). On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
