S <br /> <br />NOVE~BE9 20, 1990 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Oscar Sondrall, Alon Wieland, Sharon "Pepper" <br />Toussaint, Don Eckert and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to correct <br /> the minutes of the previous meeting by adding "of single <br /> family residential property" to paragraph 24, page 561, <br /> concerning policy on tax-forfeited property, as suggested <br /> by the States Attorney in a letter to the Commission dated <br /> November 19, 1990; and approve the minutes as corrected. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />STATES ATTORNEY, Staff commendation for Robert Hoy MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrali seconded to send a staff <br /> commendation letter to States Attorney Hoy as read by the <br /> Chairman. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Chairman also read a letter from Lawrence Boulger <br /> commending Mr. Hoy for an excellent job representing Cass <br /> County over the years and for his recent work relating to <br /> child support enforcement agreements. On roil call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OFFICER'S REPORTS, Received and filed for October MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondra[l seconded to receive and <br /> file Officer's Reports for October, 1990. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />UTILITY' PERMIT, Granted to City of Horace MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to grant <br /> utility permit to the City of Horace to cross County Road <br /> 17. On roll_ call vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />UTILITY PERMIT, Granted to Minnkota Power Cooperative MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to grant <br /> utility permit to Minnkota Power Cooperative Company for a <br /> project east of Harwood. On roil call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Closed Friday after Thanksgiving <br /> MOT.FON, passed <br /> Mr. Wieiand moved and Mr. Sondrail seconded to recognize <br /> the Road Department being closed Friday after Thanksgiving <br /> and employees will be taking a vacation day. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
