Minutes--October 16, 1990 <br /> <br />548 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />OCTOBER 16, 1990 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Oscar Sondrall, Alon Wieland, Don Eckert, Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes <br /> of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion <br /> carried unanimously· <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDED, Sheriff Department out of state travel <br />There was no objection to amending the agenda to include a request <br />for out of state travel for the Sheriff's Department. MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Lt. Walt Willis to attend a <br /> training seminar in St. Paul on October 30-November 2, <br /> 1990. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />TAX DIRECTOR, Staff commendation for Frank Klein MOTION, passed <br /> Hrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to send a <br /> staff commendation letter to Tax Director Frank Klein as <br /> read by the Chairman. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />ELECTION INSPECTORS, Approved for general election MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> the list of election inspectors provided by the Auditor for <br /> precincts outside city limits for the November 6th general <br /> election. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Approved for Mike Ber~ <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> the County Auditor to issue duplicate check in the amount <br /> of $51.00 to Hike Berg and cancel warrant ~9336 dated <br /> December 18, 1989. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Embden Fire Department MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve a <br /> raffle permit for Embden Fire Department to be held every <br /> Friday beginning January 2, 1991 through March 29, 1991. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BEER AND LIQUOR LICENSE, Willard Desotel, Wild Rice <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Hrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve a <br /> county beer and liquor license for Willard Desotel at Wild <br /> Rice. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
