Minutes--October 2, 1990 543 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />OCTOBER 2, 1990 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with four members <br />present as follows: Oscar Sondra11, Alon Wieland, Don Eckert, and <br />Gene Shannon. Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint was absent. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the minutes <br /> of the regular meeting of September 18 and special meetings <br /> of September 11, 12, 19, 20, 21 and 27 be approved as <br /> written. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM REGULATIONS, Action delayed <br />Adoption of "Amended Rules and Regulations Governing Installation and <br />Use of On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems" will be delayed until the <br />next meeting because the County Planning Commission did not have a <br />quorum at the public hearing scheduled for 'last evening, according to <br />County Planner E~rl Haugen. <br /> <br />COUNTY COURT, Appointment of magistrates MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to amend the <br /> agenda to include appointment of Jack Dietz and Michael <br /> Lochow as magistrates for Cass County Court on October 4 <br /> and October 5, 1990, pursuant to an Order signed by County <br /> Judge Frank L. Racek and District Judge Norman J. Backes. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />DISASTER EMERGENCY SERVICES, Out of state travel MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to amend the <br /> agenda to include approval for out of state travel for <br /> Glenn Ellingsberg to attend a training course to be held at <br /> the Emergency Management's National Training Academy in <br /> Emittsburg, MD'on October 15-19, 1990· On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VOTING PRECINCTS DESIGNATED, Areas outside city limits MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Hr. Eckert seconded to designate <br /> voting precincts outside city limits for the November 6 <br /> general election, according to the list provided by County <br /> Auditor Ordelle Brua dated September 6, 1990. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD & STREET REPAIRS, Disbursements to Casselton, Harwood, Alice <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve <br /> annual disbursement of road and street repair funds to the <br /> cities of Casselton--$3,467; Harwood--S1,325; Alice--S104. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
