Comm, Minutes--September 11, 1990 518 <br /> <br />10· <br /> <br />11, <br /> <br />12, <br /> <br />13, <br /> <br />14, <br /> <br />CUSTOM'S SERVICE, Budget approved at current level MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to continue <br /> the Customs Service donation at $8,000 for 1991 instead of <br /> $8,400 as requested. Motion carried on roll call vote with <br /> four members voting "Aye", Mr. Wieland opposing. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY HEALTH, Budget approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to approve <br /> the budget for Community Health as outlined, removing <br /> $8,000 for laboratory sampling and testing with an <br /> annotation that the contract be drafted directing Community <br /> Health Service to bill out the cost of water sampling to <br /> the entities involved, whether it be public or private <br /> entities. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COUNTY COURT, Budget approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to adopt the <br /> budget for County Court with the following exceptions: <br /> 1) addition~.l staff person be removed along with proposed <br /> typewriter for that person; 2) public defender contracts be <br /> re-advertised and that the Judges review potential <br /> candidates and make a recommendation to the Commission; 3) <br /> department heads' request for salary above the proposal be <br /> reduced to conform to proposed salary recommendations from <br /> the Personnel Department. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously· <br /> <br />COUNTY PARK, Budget approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to adopt the <br /> County Park budget as presented. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />DATA PROCESSING, Budget approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to adopt the <br /> Data Processing budget as presented· On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LIABILITY INSURANCE, Budget approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to adopt the <br /> Insurance Reserve levy as outlined. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REGISTER OF DEEDS, Budget approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to adopt the <br /> Register of Deeds budget as outlined. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS, Budget delayed <br />Mike Montplaisir and Geoff Riches were instructed to review policy on <br />salaries for newly elected officials. <br /> <br /> <br />
