Comm, Minutes--August 21, 1990 504 <br /> <br />REGULAR HEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COHHISSIONERS <br /> <br />AUGUST 21, 1990 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Oscar Sondra11, Alon Wieland, Don Eckert, Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint, and Gene Shannon, <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED NOTION, passed <br /> Hr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the <br /> minutes of the last regular meeting, August 7, 1990, be <br /> approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS, Letter of appreciation NOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to send a <br /> letter of appreciation to Joyce Holm, Superintendent of <br /> Schools, whose resignation is effective August 30, 1990· <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />E-911 BILLS, Absaraka Cooperative Telephone Co., Polar Communications <br /> NOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> County authorize payment for 911 hookup costs in the amount <br /> of $2,006.41 to Absaraka Cooperative Telephone Company and <br /> in the amount of $6,549.10 to Polar Communications. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />HEAD START PROGRAH, Lease aRreement renewal <br /> NOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> Chairman be authorized to sign the lease agreement with <br /> Head Start for the building at 57-11th Avenue North, Fargo· <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />WEED CUTTING, Notice published <br /> NOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> publication of the notice for weed cutting. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT, Out of state travel approved <br /> NOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Hrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Bonnie Johnson and a staff attorney <br /> to Denver, CO, September 26-28 (prior approval in 1990 <br /> budget). On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COUNTY COURT, Out of state travel approved NOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Judge Georgia Dawson to <br /> Williamsburg, VA, October 19-21 (prior approval in 1990 <br /> budget)· On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
