Minutes--March 20, 1990 441 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />MARCH 20, 1990 <br /> <br />HEEFING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with three members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Gene Shannon and Alon Wieland. <br />Commissioners Toussaint and Sondrall were absent. <br /> <br />HINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Hr. Eckert seconded that the minutes <br /> of the previous meeting be approved as written. On roll <br /> call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERHIT FOR RAFFLE, Bonanza Belles NOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the <br /> application for a raffle permit for the Bonanza Belles on <br /> August 19 at Bonanzaville. On roll call vote, the motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SALE OF TAX-DELINQUENT LOTS IN AYR, To private party <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. WZeland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to allow Brian <br /> Hovland to purchase Lots 13, 14, 15 and 16, Block 14 and <br /> Lot 17, Block 14, Original, City of Ayr, for the amount of <br /> taxes owing; and to cancel the 1989 general tax of $8.25. <br /> On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve out of <br /> state travel for Sheriff's employee, Lyndon Worden, for a <br /> course on Introduction to Emergency Hanagement in Helena, <br /> Hontana, Hatch 26-30, 1990. On roll call vote, the motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL DIRECTOR, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Hr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve out of <br /> state travel for Geoffrey Riches, Personnel Director, to <br /> attend the International Personnel Hanagement Association <br /> Regional Training Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, <br /> Hay 20-23, 1990· The cost is within the Personnel <br /> Department budget. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />OFFICER'S REPORTS FOR FEBRUARY, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Hr. Eckert seconded to receive and <br /> file Officer's Reports for February, 1990. On roll call <br /> vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
