MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Don Eckert called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Oscar Sondrall, Alon Wieland, Don Eckert, Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint, and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, N~ additions <br />Chairman Eckert asked if there were changes or additions to the <br />agenda and hearing none, he proceeded with the first item. <br /> <br />4. BIDS, Sale of Road Department ~hops <br />The following bids were opened at 9:15 a.m. for the sale of road <br />maintenance shops at three locations in the County: <br /> <br />Tower City Shop <br />Wayne Glemming-$1,855 <br />Robert Claus - 1,112 <br /> <br />Pa~e Shop <br />Gary Carlson-S529 <br />Dewey Nelson- 100 <br />Robert Claus- 350 <br /> <br />Erie Shop <br />Melvin Albert & Ray Viestenz-$1,051 <br />Brent Jenkins - 1,653 <br />W. Jerome Lende - 807 <br />Robert Claus - 300 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to accept the <br />highest bids for the property in Tower City of $1,855, for <br />the property in Erie of $1,653, and for the property in <br />Page of $529; subject to acceptance of the property as is <br />and subject to approval of the States Attorney and County <br />Engineer. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5. RESOLUTION #1989-18, SuPp_~Ft Of Lake A~assi~ CoHnc~] <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to adopt a <br /> resolution of support for the planning and economic <br /> development program and budget of the Lake Agassiz Regional <br /> Council during fiscal year 1990 in the amount of $15,500. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />6. LAKE AGASSIZ REGIONAL COUNCIL, Small business iRcubatoE <br />Six counties in the Lake Agassiz Regional Council, including Cass <br />County, last year agreed to make lease payments to the Burlington <br />Northern Railroad Co. on the small business incubator site if LARC <br />defaults.
