Comm. Hinutes--August 1, 1989 299 <br /> <br />5. ROAD AND STREET REPAIR FUNDS, Harwood and Grandin MOTION, passed <br /> Upon the recommendation of County Engineer Don Richards, <br /> Hr. Wieland moved and by Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> payment of pothole and street repair funds to the City of <br /> Harwood in the amount of $1,356 and to the City of Grandin <br /> in the amount of $637. On roll call vote, the motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. ROAD PROJECTS, Bid openin~ set <br />Don Richards informed the Commission that a bid opening has been <br />scheduled for the September 5th Commission meeting for a maintenance <br />overlay on County Road 5 and for bridge replacement in Raymond <br />Township on County Road 13. <br /> <br />7. SOCIAL SERVICES COMMUNITY SURVIVAL, Upqrade positions <br />Jim Berglie from the Social Services Community Survival Program was <br />present regarding his July 17th memo to the Commission requesting <br />approval to upgrade two Social Worker I positions to Social Worker <br />II, one Clerk II position to Clerk III, and upgrade a Vocational <br />Rehabilitation Specialist position, based upon additional job duties. <br /> <br />Mr. Berglie stated that the County Social Service Board approved the <br />upgrading for all positions, and he sent them to the State Central <br />Personnel Office to determine the job classification. Central <br />Personnel changed a job title to Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. <br />Mrs. Toussaint suggested going back to the Social Service Board with <br />that job title change so that the County Commission would not be <br />overstepping their bounds. Mr. Berglie stated that the Social <br />Service Board minutes do not reflect it, but he did inform them that <br />it was unclear what the job title would be for this position. He <br />indicated that the grade level and salary did not change. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to approve <br /> all of the position changes for the Community Survival <br /> Program, except for the Vocational Counselor I upgrade <br /> being subject to approval of the County Social Service <br /> Board. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />8. VOUCHERS, Approved for payment MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that <br /> Vouchers No. 4897 through No. 5570 be approved and ordered <br /> paid. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. OFFICER'S REPORTS, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to receive and <br /> file the Officer's Reports for June, 1989. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10. WATER RESOURCE DISTRICTS, Semi-annual reports MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and <br /> file the semi-annual financial report of the Rush River, <br /> Maple River, North Cass, and Southeast Cass Water Resource <br /> Districts.
