Bohn, State Court Administrator, acknowledging receipt of Cass County's request for state funding of the Clerk of District Court and indicating that he will keep the County advised as to the inclusion of Cass County's request in the Judicial Branch budget, Cass County's request being the eighth one received. 39, ND ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES, s~ate deleqate The Commission scheduled a meeting with Cass County elected officials at 11:50 AH on June 20th to select a delegate to the North Dakota Association of Counties annual meeting to be held in Grand Forks on October 31-November 3, 1989. 40. FARGO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, Annual dues MOTION, passed Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve payment of membership investment dues in the amount of $324.00 to the Fargo Chamber of Commerce. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 41. FISHING TOURNAMENT, Endorsed by Commission MOTION, passed Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the County Commission endorse the First Annual Cass County Fishing Tournament to be held on July 15, 1989. Hotion carried. 42, ROCHESTER TOWNSHIP, Rental of pasture lan~ Chairman Eckert informed the Board that a check was received in the amount of $1,560 from Ralph Thompson for rental of County pasture land located in Rochester Township for the 1989 season. 43. SE HUMAN SERVICES AND VECTOR CONTROL BOARD, Terms discussed States Attorney Robert Hoy was asked at the last regular meeting about statutory changes on the Vector Control District Board and the Southeast Human Services Board. He stated that the statutes remain the same for Southeast Human Services but for the Vector Control Board, House Bill 1108 provides that county commissions will appoint board members directly after July 1, 1989. Mrs. Toussaint stated that the Commission does need to address a vacancy on the Southeast Human Services Board and to determine if Alvin Johnson, former County employee, intends to continue serving on the Human Services Board. Mr. Wie]and suggested contacting him to find out his intentions. Mr. Eckert stated that it would be the same situation with former Commissioner Jeannette Stanton that she should be contacted and asked what her intentions are on the Vector Control Board and Southeast Human Services. 44. ADJOURN On motion by Hr. Shannon and seconded by Mrs. Toussaint, the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
