Bohn, State Court <br />Administrator, acknowledging receipt of Cass County's request for <br />state funding of the Clerk of District Court and indicating that he <br />will keep the County advised as to the inclusion of Cass County's <br />request in the Judicial Branch budget, Cass County's request being <br />the eighth one received. <br /> <br />39, ND ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES, s~ate deleqate <br />The Commission scheduled a meeting with Cass County elected officials <br />at 11:50 AH on June 20th to select a delegate to the North Dakota <br />Association of Counties annual meeting to be held in Grand Forks on <br />October 31-November 3, 1989. <br /> <br />40. FARGO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, Annual dues MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> payment of membership investment dues in the amount of <br /> $324.00 to the Fargo Chamber of Commerce. On roll call <br /> vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />41. FISHING TOURNAMENT, Endorsed by Commission MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> County Commission endorse the First Annual Cass County <br /> Fishing Tournament to be held on July 15, 1989. Hotion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />42, ROCHESTER TOWNSHIP, Rental of pasture lan~ <br />Chairman Eckert informed the Board that a check was received in the <br />amount of $1,560 from Ralph Thompson for rental of County pasture <br />land located in Rochester Township for the 1989 season. <br /> <br />43. SE HUMAN SERVICES AND VECTOR CONTROL BOARD, Terms discussed <br />States Attorney Robert Hoy was asked at the last regular meeting <br />about statutory changes on the Vector Control District Board and the <br />Southeast Human Services Board. He stated that the statutes remain <br />the same for Southeast Human Services but for the Vector Control <br />Board, House Bill 1108 provides that county commissions will appoint <br />board members directly after July 1, 1989. Mrs. Toussaint stated <br />that the Commission does need to address a vacancy on the Southeast <br />Human Services Board and to determine if Alvin Johnson, former County <br />employee, intends to continue serving on the Human Services Board. <br />Mr. Wie]and suggested contacting him to find out his intentions. <br />Mr. Eckert stated that it would be the same situation with former <br />Commissioner Jeannette Stanton that she should be contacted and asked <br />what her intentions are on the Vector Control Board and Southeast <br />Human Services. <br /> <br />44.
