<br />Commission Minutes--October 17, 2005 2989 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />OCTOBER 17, 2005 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Darrell Vanyo called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Vern Bennett led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the following changes: 1) delay purchase order for vector <br />control building furnishings; 2) add contract with ChoicePoint <br />Government Services; and 3) move item c, advisory board appointment, <br />from the consent agenda to the regular agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. HOLIDAY CLEARING BUREAU, Emplovee solicitation for clothina items <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to allow the solicitation of <br />clothing items from Cass County employees to be given to the Holiday <br />Clearing Bureau for distribution to needy adults. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. OMITTED ASSESSMENTS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to add Lot 10 less West 33' <br />Block 2, Amber Valley 6th Addition to the City of Fargo, as omitted <br />property for 2005 in the amount of $87,500, according to notice sent from <br />the county auditor to Scott and Mary Anderson, Fargo, North Dakota. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to add part of Lot 27 Block <br />18, College 2nd Addition to the City of Fargo, as omitted property for 2005 <br />in the amount of $16,200, according to notice sent from the county <br />auditor to Staci Murphy, Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to add Lot 3 Block 2, Eddy <br />Place Addition to the City of Fargo, as omitted property for 2005 in the <br />amount of $41,400, according to notice sent from the county auditor to <br />Robert and Katherine Keating, Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />
