195 <br /> <br /> A letter was received from Glenn Ellingsberg requesting approval <br />to hire new staff in the Emergency Management Department and stating <br />that the position was approved in the budget with a salary range of <br />$1524-$2547 monthly. Mr. Wieland asked for further information in <br />advance so the Commissioners have an opportunity to revie~ it before <br />acting upon it. <br /> <br /> Mr. Eckert stated that the County is in a position where a <br />determination needs to be made by the Commission on health insurance <br />benefits for an employee who is presently on leave of absence without <br />pay. Mr. Wieland stated that he is not prepared to act on this for <br />lack of knowledge.
