Johnson-Seltzer invited the ne~4 Commissioners to come <br />the fairgrounds for a tour of tile facilities and she would ans~er any <br />questions that anyone might have. <br /> <br /> At 10:45 a.m., Mr. Wieland suggested the Board break to hold t'hc <br />Cass County Park Board meeting. <br /> <br /> Tile Cass County Commission meeting resumed ~ith Chairman Eckert <br />asking if anyone had any items to submit for the .joint meeting of the <br />City and County Commission on February [4. Mr. Shannon indicated that <br />he would be submitting something, blt. Eckert suggested discussing <br />Fargo Director of Finance Mark Thelen's request for an additional <br />ballot counter at the joint meeting. <br /> <br /> Ms. Jeannette Stanton commented to the Commission that during the <br />budget process, items are put into the budget but Department Heads are <br />~arned that they would not be able to spend the money allocated without <br />final approval. <br /> <br /> Chairman Eckert said that the Commissioners have been invited to <br />the Barnes County Commissioners Day at Valley City on March 9, 1989. <br /> <br /> Mr. Eckert called attention to a claim that had been filed in <br />regard to two stolen coats in the District Court area.
