167 <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson seconded to reappoint Wayne <br />Kyser of Erie and Keith Monilaws of Absaraka to the County Park Board <br />for 1989. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to reappoint Josephine <br />tlegstad from District 2 and Kathy Hawken from District 3 to the Cass <br />County School Reorganization Committee for 3 year terms to expire <br />December 31, 1991. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson seconded to reappoint Clarence <br />Discher to the Maple River Water Resource District, Fred Selberg to <br />the Southeast Cass Water Resource District, William Sinz to the R~sh <br />River Water Resource District, and Robert Thompson to the North Cass <br />Water Resource District for 3 year terms to expire December 31, 1991. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to reappoint David <br />Butler, Carol Spichke, and Jeannette Stanton to the Human Services <br />Board for 2 year terms to expire December 31, 1990. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the renewal <br />of a County beer and liquor license for 1989 for Charlene Hestbeck at <br />the Warren Tavern, subject to approval of the Warren Township Board <br />of Supervisors. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the Chairman be <br />authorized to sign a real estate lease agreement with option to <br />purchase and a sub-lease agreement on property to the south of the <br />Courthouse described as Lot 3, Lot 4, and the east one-half of Lot 5, <br />Block 32, Original Townsite, City of Fargo, for a total of <br />$182,014.21 with the County paying down $17,014.21, less $500.00 <br />already paid on the purchase option, due January 3, 1989; and to pay <br />monthly payments of $1,647.33 on a lease purchase option for five <br />years, subject to final approval of the States Attorney. Mr. Larson <br />stated that States Attorney Robert Hoy is preparing the necessary <br />documents to be signed. The motion carried on roll call vote with <br />Mr. Wieland and Mr. Larson voting "Aye", and Mrs. Stanton opposing <br />the purchase of this property. <br /> <br /> County Auditor Ordelle Brua received a letter from the State Tax <br />Department informing Cass County that the State Board of Tax <br />Equalization will be meeting on January 4th at 10:30 AM regarding a <br />tax exemption for Hubert Oye and Sons, Inc. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Vice <br />Chairperson be authorized to sign County Deeds to Sports Center, Inc. <br />for the purchase of Lots 2 and 3, Block 2, Interstate Park Addition <br />in the City of Fargo. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Vice <br />Chairperson be authorized to sign a County Deed for Lot 12, Block 14 <br />in Sukuts 2nd, City of West Fargo, and to cancel the general taxes in <br />the amount of $9,441.00, as outlined by the County Auditor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
