151 <br /> <br /> Sheriff Rudnick requested that the Commission appoint citizens <br />to assist the jail advisory committee. He stated that he sent about <br />50 invitations to the public hearing on Planning of New Institutions <br />to be held Friday, November 18, ]988, at the Juvenile Justice Center. <br />Mrs. Stanton asked the Sheriff to keep a record of who attends the <br />hearing on Friday. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larson requested that the future of the former Sheriff's <br />Residence be placed on the agenda again for November 22nd. Mr. Royce <br />Yeater, President of the Fargo Heritage Society, will be notified. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland suggested a meeting with Cass County legislators to <br />discuss specific County concerns before the next legislative session. <br /> <br /> Concerning an overtime report from County Social Services, it <br />was suggested that the Director of the Community Survival Program be <br />requested to appear before the Board next Tuesday. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton stated that there are some unresolved items which <br />the Commission needs to address before the end of 1988. <br /> <br /> Concerning 1988 salary adjustments, Mrs. Stanton asked Chairman <br />Eckert to request written comments from department heads on their <br />opinion of the salary survey conducted by Mr. Bob Black of Eide <br />Helmeke Company and any other comments they have about salaries, and <br />to furnish this information within the next two weeks.
