Dalsin Company, Inc. <br /> <br /> Bids were received from the following for construction of two <br />highway maintenance buildings, one at Argusville and one at <br />Buffalo: <br /> <br />Candor Construction Company <br />Farm Builders, Inc. <br />Advance Structures, Inc. <br />Retro Building Systems, Inc. <br />Heitkamp Construction, Inc. <br /> <br />The States Attorney will be consulted on an envelope from <br />E-Z Open Garage Door, which was addressed to the Cass County <br />Engineer and included the words "Bid for new maintenance <br />buildings". The envelope was not opened at this time because it <br />does not appear to follow the County bid specifications. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Hr. Sondrall seconded that the above <br />bids which were opened be referred to the County Engineer and Road <br />Superintendent for evaluation and recommendation. Hotion carried. <br /> <br /> Upon the recommendation of Oounty Engineer Don Richards, <br />Hrs. Stanton moved and Hr. Sondrall seconded to accept the low bid <br />of United Roofing with Alternate A for a total bid of $10,950.00 <br />for re-roofing the Highway Department building. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried with all members present voting "Aye" <br /> <br /> Upon the recommendation of County Engineer Don Richards, <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to accept the low bid <br />of Farm Builders in the amount of $'79,500 for construction of two <br />highway maintenance buildings. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried with all members present voting "Aye" <br /> <br /> Hr. Sondrall asked if Cass County should become involved in a <br />project to clean up the Red River, and the matter will be placed on <br />the agenda for next week when all Commissioners are present. <br /> <br /> On motion by Hrs.
