108 REGULAR MEETING OF OASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AUGUST 9, ~988 Chairman Don Eokert called the meeting to order wlth three members present as follows: Oscar Sondrall, Jeannette Stanton, and Don Eokert. Commissioners Alon Wieland and Ray Larson are attending the National Association of Counties convention in Anaheim, CA. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to authorize County Planner Earl Haugen to have 500 copies printed of the Cass County Compt-ehensive Land Use Policy Pla/?: Summary geporb and to have 300 copies printed of the Cass Cou/?by Co¢~pt-eheosi~,e Land Use Policy Plan, as approved by the Cass County Planning Commission, at a cost of $2,516.00 to be paid from the County Contingency Fund. On roii cali vote, the motion carried with ali members present voting "Aye" Earl Haugen stated that a public hearing on the southside rural wastewater facility plan will be held on August lO, 1988. Administrative Assistant Diana Murack reported that she contacted the State Historical Society about insuring artifacts. She was informed that they carry supplemental insurance besides the State Fire and Tornado Fund, which also insures 8onanzaville in Cass County. Mr. Eckert is waiting for information from the State Fire and Tornado Fund on what rate is used to insure the contents of the buildings at Bonanzaville. Diana Murack reported that Blue Cross-81ue Shield has completed a new health insurance handbook, and these will be distributed to County employees at a meeting on August 16th. Diana Murack received permission to Directors meeting of the Fargo-Cass County Corporation on August 17th. attend a Board of Economic Development Upon the recommendation of County Engineer Don Richards, Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve payment of City Pothole and Street Repair Funds to the following cities: Frontier--S469.00; Page--S475.00; and Harwood--S1,594.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried with all members present voting "Aye". Upon the recommendation of the County Engineer, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to grant a utility permit to Cass County Electric Co-op for cable across County Road 5 south of Chaffee, ND. Motion carried. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to grant a raffle permit to the Four Corners Wildlife Club on November 28, 1988, at the Embden Senior Citizens Center. Motion carried.
