107 Upon the request of County Auditor Ordelle Brua, Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the assignment of 1986 Tax Certificates on Lots One (less the S 60 feet of the W 80 feet), Two, Three, and Four of Block Nine, Replat of Rabanus Addition to the City of Fargo. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the County Auditor be authorized to acquire the services of American Information Systems of Omaha, NE for election site support at the November General Election at a cost not to exceed $1,500.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to receive and file a budget request of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Motion carried. Mr. Nieland the Comparison Motion carried. moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to receive and file of Customs Activity report dated July 21, 1988. Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to reappoint Emerson Harris to the Oity of North River Planning and Zoning Oommission from the extraterritorial jurisdiction for a five year term to expire July 1, 199~. Motion carried. Copies were provided for each Commissioner of a letter from Governor George A. Sinner to Mr. Keith Davis of Kindred regarding the Normanna Township bridge, which was recently closed by the County Engineer due to its unsafe condition. Upon written request of Norman J. 8ackes, Presiding Judge of the East Central Judicial District, Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the appointments of Linda Rogers, Clerk, and Linda 8rooks, Deputy Clerk of the Cass County Court, as Magistrates pursuant to Administrative Rule 20 on all matters oonomrning issuing checks without sufficient funds or without account. Motion carried. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the Chairman be authorized to send a letter to Mark Johnson of the North Dakota Association of Counties indicating that Cass County would be interested in participating in a study of fees charged by counties, depending upon the cost of the study. Mr. Nieland asked that the Chairman inquire whether the cost would be borne by the County in the 1988 or the 1989 budget. Motion carried. Diana Murack reported that an informal meeting between officials of Cass and Clay Counties has been scheduled for September 6th at 12:50 PM at the Fargo Town House. An informal meeting will be held with City of Fargo officials on September l~th at 6:00 PM to discuss items of mutual concern. Committee reports were given.
