104 <br /> <br /> Mr. Larson suggested holding a meeting of the Oass County <br />Building Authority next Tuesday, but it was the general consensus of <br />the Commission that the 1989 preliminary budget should be reviewed <br />before making a decision to build a new 3ail. /he City of Fargo <br />has not made a decision on a combined law enforcement center but <br />Mr. Wieland stated that Mayor Lindgren indicated that the County <br />should proceed on the basis of what the County wants to do. <br />Mr. Lar$on asked the Commission secretary to write a letter to 8ob <br />Ehlers explaining the Board's position. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Jim Berglie be <br />authorized to hire staff replacement for a Homemaker II position for <br />the Community Survival Program. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Chairman Eckert received a letter from the Chairman of the Clay <br />County 8card of Commissioners asking for a letter of support on the <br />site of a new Minnesota State Veterans Home which would help the <br />economy of the area that is chosen for its construction.
