102 <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file <br />a letter from Florenz Bjornson, Chairman of the Oounty Social <br />Services Board, informing the Oommission of the necessity to <br />reorganize staff working hours in order to complete eligibility <br />changes and authorizations having a deadline of July 21, 1988; this <br />being necessary because of a breakdown in the computer/records <br />functions between County Social Services and Central Data Processing <br />in Bismarck. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> A letter was received from County Planner Earl Haugen advising <br />the County Commission that the proposed special assessment district <br />along County Road 20 north of Fargo will no longer be needed because <br />the property owners will purchase services from the City of Fargo. <br /> <br /> A letter was received from County Planner Earl Haugen stating <br />that the County should soon receive an advance allowance in the <br />amount of $90,172 for the Step 1-Facility Planning and Design of the <br />proposed Southside Rural Wastewater Treatment Facility. He also <br />notified the Oommission of a public hearing on the proposed facility <br />plan to be held at 8:00 PM on August 10, 1988, at the Juvenile <br />Justice Center. <br /> <br /> A letter was received from William Kirsohner notifying the <br />County Commission of his intent to terminate his contract for <br />providing indigent defense services in Cass County Court effective <br />August ~lst. Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive <br />and file Mr. Kirsohner's letter and accept his resigmation effective <br />August ~l, 1988, and send him a letter thanking him for his services <br />for the past several years; and to immediately inform the County <br />Judge about this matter. Motion carried. Mr. Wieland suggested <br />contacting the States Attorney's Office on the proper procedure for <br />replacement.
