94 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />JULY 5, 1988 <br /> <br /> Chairman Don Eckert called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Alon Wieland, Ray Larson, Jeannette Stanton, <br />Oscar Sondrall and Don Eckert. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of <br />the previous meeting be approved as written. Chairman Eckert will arrange a meeting <br />at the West Fargo Highrise to discuss this matter. <br /> <br /> County Planner Earl Haugen was present and stated that <br />he has issued a final report and letter recommending denial <br />of the Oxbow Incorporation petitions. He questions whether <br />the County has received enough information. Attorney for the <br />petitioners, Greg Selbo, and Oxbow residents Ralph Peterson and Don <br />Stockman were also present. Mr. Selbo stated that he feels the <br />petitioners have expressed intentions as much as they can. The city <br />government, once it is formed, will have the authority to make <br />decisions. Mr. Larson stated that he is in favor of the <br />incorporation and suggested that the petitioners re-apply after being <br />more specific in the areas which concern the County Planner. <br />Mrs. Stanton asked that Assistant States Attorney, Jim Twomey, be <br />involved in this discussion because he prepared the written findings <br />on the Round Hill incorporation petitions. <br /> <br /> <br />
