Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the date of <br />June 15, 1988, be set for a Public Hearing on the Oxbow incorporation <br />petitions at 7:00 PM in the Juvenile Justice Center. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland suggested holding interviews next week <br />position of Cass County Director of /ax Equalization. <br /> <br />for the <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to authorize the <br />Chairman to sign the Salary and Pay Grade forms for Jeff Oonant at <br />$6.25 per hour and for Rick Fletcher at $5.00 per hour as part-time <br />employees for the Cass County Vector Control District. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to grant permission <br />for out of state travel for Joyce Temanson to St. Cloud, MN on <br />May 26, 1988. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Upon the request of Norman J. 8aokes, Presiding Judge of the <br />East Central Judicial District, Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson <br />seconded to authorize payment to acting County Court Judge John O. <br />Garaas of per diem in a sum equal to that of retiring Judge Cynthia <br />Rothe and actual travel expenses including mileage and subsistence, <br />through June 30, 1988. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mr. Eokert reported that there will be interviews this Friday by <br />the State Judicial Committee for the position of County Court Judge <br />vacated by Cynthia Rothe. Mr. Wieland stated that he understands <br />Judge Cooke intends to make a decision within one week's time on <br />whether he will request a leave earlier than June 30th.
