53 <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded bo extend the ren'tal <br />of County pasture land in 'the SW 1/4 of Section 6, Rochester <br />Township, with Mr. Ralph ihompson at the current rate of $1,560.00 <br />per year for the years 1988 and 1989, with termination on <br />December 51, 1989. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to transfer $1,000 <br />from the County Contingency Fund to the Auto Collision Fund to cover- <br />the loss of a patrol vehicle. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. Mr. Lamson asked the Administrative Assistant to <br />determine how much the County would have paid in insurance premiums <br />for this type of coverage before going to self-insuring in this area. <br /> <br /> County Auditor Ordelle Brua gave the Board a financial report on <br />the 1'988 County budget. She stated that there are negative balances <br />in several special levy funds, the largest being the Jail. <br />Mr. Wieland requested an update on fund balances on the 'first of July <br />and September or October, and perhaps each month thereafter. <br /> <br /> The County Auditor requested permission to have election site <br />support from the American Information System for the Primary <br />Election. Mr'. Wieland asked to delay a decision until next week, and <br />Mrs. Stanton suggested asking Clarence Miller and Richard Offutt <br />for their opinion on this since they are familiar with the machines. <br /> <br /> A meeting has been set for- <br />Room at the Courthouse on <br />assessment computer records. <br /> <br /> April 26, <br />proposed <br /> <br /> 1988, in the Commission <br />consolidation of special <br /> <br /> Mr-. Wieland reported that he recently visited with Kaye Braaten, <br />Richland County Commissioner, and i't appears that she will be running <br />for 3rd Vice President of the Natlonal Association of Counties <br />instead of 4th Vice President. <br /> <br /> Mr-. Sondrall moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that 'the Chairman <br />write a letter to the Fargo-Cass County Economic Development <br />Corporation acknowledging receipt of a membership plaque and <br />stating that Cass County is very pleased to be a member. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to set a public <br />meeting for May 25, 1988, at 8:00 P.M. in the Juvenile Justice Center <br />regarding the southside sewer project.
