5O <br /> <br />the call for the question and upon roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> County Auditor Ordette 8rua reported that she received the <br />signed BILL OF' SALE AND ASSIGNMENT OF COPYRIGHT from Darlene Richard <br />for purchase of the County plat book business. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to receive and file <br />the Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Buffalo Hardware Hank, and <br />authorize the County Auditor to issue a duplicate check. On roll <br />cal. 1 vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mr-. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the County <br />Auditor be authorized to purchase a check protector and table in the <br />amount of $405.00, to be paid from the County Contingency Fund. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the cities of <br />West Fargo, Hunter, Tower City and Riverside be authorized to <br />purchase tax-delinquent lots remaining on the 1987 'Tax Sale List and <br />to cancel the general taxes in the amount of $28,770.24; and that the <br />Chairman be authorized to sign the respective County Deeds. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Ordelle Brua informed the Commission of the resignation of <br />Vonnie Rostad as computer operator in the Auditor's Office effective <br />April 15, 1988. She stated that she will need to find a replacement <br />as soon as possible and asked if she should begin the process. <br />Mr-. Wieland suggested that Richard Offutt, two Commissioners and <br />Diana Muraok review the situation in the Auditor's Office and make a <br />recommendation 'to the County Commission by next week if possible. <br />Mrs. Stanton suggested involving all of the employees in the <br />Auditor's Office, and Mr. Wieland suggested that she and the Chairman <br />be involved in this. Mrs. 8rua stated that she has not had enough <br />staff to have someone else trained in this area. <br /> <br /> Upon the request of County Auditor Ordelle 8rua, Mr. Wieland <br />moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that she be authorized to hire former' <br />employee Janice (Becket) lilies at the rate of $10.OO per hour for <br />a part-time temporary position. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive the <br />letter from the Office of Management and Budget concerning denial of <br />a request for' amendment to Community Development Block Grant to Solid <br />Comfort, and refer 'to the States Attorney for comment.
