47 <br /> <br /> Upon the written request of Sheriff Don Rudnick, Mr. Wieland <br />moved and Mr. Larson seconded to grant approval for out of state <br />travel for Glenn Ellingsberg to attend a training school in <br />Emmitsburg, Maryland on April Z§-Z9, 1988 and for Carlos Perez to <br />attend a training school in Longmont, Colorado on April 18-22, 1988. <br /> On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and file <br />copies of letters from the Chairman of the Judicial Nominating <br />Committee to Governor George Sinner, to Chief Justice Ralph Erickstad <br />and to Charles Feste, President of the State Bar Association, <br />regarding replacement of County Judge in Cass County Court. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive payment <br />from the Community Action Agency Head Start Program for one year's <br />rental of the County property located at 57-11th Avenue North, Fargo; <br />and to receive and file the signed lease agreement. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson seconded that a packet of <br />information be prepared for architects and financial companies <br />regarding financing a proposed joint law enforcement center. <br />Mrs. Stanton requested that the Administrative Assistant prepare the <br />information for the Commission to review. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and file <br />and authorize Vice Chairman Stanton to sign the Salary and Pay Grade <br />Form for Denise McCollum to work as Probate Clerk in County Court in <br />Pay Grade 3 to replace Stephanie Thompson who made a lateral move to <br />work in the Criminal Department. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Concerning written findings for denial of Round Hill <br />incorporation, the matter will be placed on the agenda for next week. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Larson requested that Administrative Assistant <br />Diana Murack research records of the four Water Resource Districts <br />and determine the amount of money spent on all engineering projects, <br />all attorney fees and how much money was paid to the managers of the <br />water resource districts for a period of two years. Mrs. Stanton <br />asked that she contact the States Attorney for his opinion on <br />combining the four districts into one. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and file <br />the semi-annual Statement of Condition of Finances as of December 31, <br />1987 for the Southeast Cass, Rush River, Maple River and North Cass <br />Water Resource Districts.
