27 <br /> <br /> Correspondence was received from Bonnie 5ohnson representing <br />Oass County Department Heads, who met on February i7, I988, and <br />supported the recommendation of the Saiary Review Committee that the <br />Oounty retain the services of a private consuiting firm to review <br />the existing pay system. Sheriff Don Rudnick, Chairman of the <br />Saiary Review Committee, was present and discussion foIlowed. Diana <br />Murack suggested invoiving Richard Offutt in personnei discussions <br />such as this. It was the consensus of the Commissioners to ask Mr. <br />Offutt to suggest a firm or severai firms to do an evaiuation and <br />assist in adjustments in the County's pay system. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondraii seconded to receive and <br />file correspondence from the North Dakota Association of Counties <br />regarding reimbursement for crude oil overcharges for the years 1975 <br />through I98I, and refer it to County Engineer Don Richards for his <br />determination of whether this is in the County's best interest to <br />pursue it. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and <br />file a letter from the Foster County Commission objecting to Cass <br />County filing a claim against the North Dakota Insurance Reserve <br />Fund for the tax increment error.
