21 <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson seconded to refer a letter <br />from CNA Insurance Companies concerning Ciaim No. 09-140055-G2, <br />Claimant being Florence Bauer, to the County's insurance company and <br />to States Attorney Robert Hoy. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Concerning budgets of the four water resource districts in Cass <br />County, Mrs. Stanton asked that copies of each be mailed to the <br />members of the Commission and that the matter be placed on the <br />agenda next week for discussion. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larson noted that a vacancy has existed on the County <br />Social Services Board since the resignation of Bernard Holes. <br />Motion was made by Hr. Larson and seconded by Mr. Sondrall to <br />appoint Mr. William Clower to the Cass County Social Services 8card <br />for a term to expire July 31, 1990. The motion carried on roll call <br />vote with three members voting "Aye", Mrs. Stanton and Mr. Wieland <br />opposing for the reason that public notice was not given that the <br />appointment would be made on this date. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file a <br />letter from five elected officials concerning salary adjustments, <br />and acknowledge that the Commission will delay any further <br />employees' salary adjustments until such time as the Commission <br />received a full report from all department heads. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file <br />a letter from the Cass County Historical Society requesting <br />additional land at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, and stating <br />that additional information is needed on their long-range plans <br />before the County Commission can respond to their request. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file <br />a letter from the Cass County Historical Society thanking Cass <br />County for the $600.00 contribution to the Law Enforcement Museum at <br />8onanzaville.
