Sondrall seconded to authorize the <br />to sign the 1988 Blue Cross-Blue Shield health care <br /> On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> County Engineer Don Richards reported that a motor grader and <br />County shop building at Argusville were lost due to a fire last week <br />that appears to have started at the base of the furnace. He will be <br />collecting the insurance that Nas carried on the loss. <br /> <br /> Upon the request of the County Engineer, Mrs. Stanton moved <br />and Mr. Sondrall seconded that Don Richards be authorized to <br />proceed with the design for refurbishing the roof of the County Road <br />Department building and for the construction of two new shops, one <br />at Argusville and one at Buffalo; and to advertise for bids on the <br />above. On roIi oaii vote, the motion carried unanimousiy. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Chairman be <br />authorized to sign the Saiary and Pay Grade Form for Brad FrseIand, <br />temporary part-time Road Department empioyee, at $5.50 per hour, to <br />include his time through January, 1988. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Upon the request of County Engineer Don Richards, Mrs. Stanton <br />moved and Mr. Larson seconded that he be authorized to hire no more <br />than nine seasonal employees for 1988 summer road construction and <br />maintenance at $5.50 per hour. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Upon the recommendation of John Meyer, Veterans Service <br />Officer, Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Larson seconded to adopt <br />Resolution No. 1988-1 for Veteran's Tax Exemptions. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. A copy of said resolution is <br />on file in the Office of the County Auditor. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Chairman be <br />authorized to sign a contract with Da-Sota Elevator Company for <br />maintenance of the Courthouse South Wing elevator at a cost of <br />$215.~4 per month for full maintenance; and that Richard Offutt, <br />Director of Administrative Services, investigate the possibility of <br />combining maintenance contracts on all elevators in County <br />buildings. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Chairman <br />be authorized to sign an agreement with A8 Door-Ware Inc. to remodel <br />the east entrance doors to the Courthouse at a cost of $1,258.00. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Chairman be <br />authorized to enter into an agreement with Automatic Lawn Sprinkler <br />for installation of a lawn and shrubbery sprinkling system at a cost <br />of $5,795.
