Concerning a stipulation agreement between the North Dakota Supreme Court and County <br />Judge Donald Cooke, Mr. Wieland asked to withdraw it as an agenda item since he was <br />informed that the Supreme Court has not acted upon this agreement. <br /> <br /> The Commissioners received a copy of an agreement between "Hotline" and Cass County <br />Social Service Board for a call-forwarding arrangement. Mrs. Stanton and Mr. Larson <br />stated that they understand that the agreement is the same as last year's contract. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file a letter from <br />Mr. Vince Lindstrom, Far§o-Moorhead Visitor's and Convention Bureau regarding the 1989 <br />State Centennial; and to place it in the budget file for 1989. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to receive and file a letter from the <br />State Historical Society requesting financial assistance for preservation of the former <br />Stutsman County Courthouse, which was deeded to the State Historical Society last <br />September. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Correspondence will be referred to the County Engineer on a State Hiyhway Department <br />bid letting to be held January 29th in Bismarck for road work on Interstate 94 near the <br />Buffalo interchange and east to Casselton. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to yrant permission for out of state <br />travel for Social Services employee Gilbert Engel to St. Cloud, MN on January 5, 1988. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sondrall reported on a recent meeting of the Southeastern North Dakota Community <br />Action Agency. He stated that budget cuts have drastically affected them, but they are <br />doin~ good work for the amount of money they receive. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton reported that there was a meeting of the joint Law Enforcement Center <br />committee yesterday, and Mr. Larson suggested placing an item on the a~enda for next <br />Tuesday for further discussion. <br /> <br />On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mr. Wieland, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Ordelle Brua - County Auditor <br />Cass County, North Dakota <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Don ck~ert,~Chai rma~n~ <br />Cass County Board of Commissioners <br /> <br /> <br />
