<br />Commission Minutes--June 16, 2003 2604 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JUNE 16, 2003 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: John Meyer, Robyn Sorum, Darrell Vanyo, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />The chairman asked Darrell Vanyo to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting of June 2,2003 be approved as written. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda as printed. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. ABATEMENT APPLICATION, Approved for Rvland Development; David Tessier <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that Abatement #4229 for <br />Ryland Development Corporation be approved, as recommended by the <br />Director of Equalization. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that Abatements #4236 and <br />#4237 be approved for David D. Tessier, as recommended by the Director <br />of Equalization. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. EXTENSION SERVICE, Grant continuation for Family Nutrition Proaram <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the Cass County <br />Commission support the Family Nutrition Program county proposal for <br />continuation of the program from October 1, 2003-September 30, 2004, <br />pending proposal acceptance by state and federal partners. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Southeast Cass Water Resource District aareement for Drain <br />10/Cass 31 improvements <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the chairman to <br />sign the funding participation agreement with Southeast Cass Water <br />Resource District for Drain 10/Cass 31 improvements, according to a <br />letter from the Southeast Cass Water Resource District dated April 29, <br />2003. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />
