<br />Commission Minutes--May 5, 2003 2587 <br /> <br />r- <br /> <br />She said the request, which has not been reviewed in the past three years, includes an <br />updated PAQ (Position Analysis Questionnaire) and was received by the deadline of the <br />first Monday in May, which is today. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to submit the request for <br />reclassification review of the Sheriff's Department field deputies to Fox <br />Lawson and Associates. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. Mrs. Johnson said she will notify Personnel Overview <br />Committee members of this additional reclassification request. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson reported there have recurring problems with the new generator installed <br />at the Courthouse after the old one was removed from the basement of the former jail. <br />Electricians need to shut off power to the Courthouse for about two hours, hopefully <br />on a Saturday, and she will inform the Courthouse employees of the date. <br /> <br />Commissioners reported on meetings they have attended in the past two weeks, as <br />well as upcoming meetings. Mr. Wagner reminded commissioners of an opportunity <br />to work on national issues facing counties by attending the National Association of <br />Counties annual conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 13-15, 2003. Mr. Meyer <br />said the East Central Commissioners Association is meeting in June at Hillsboro. <br /> <br />,.... <br /> <br />Michael Montplaisir, County Auditor, said his office is preparing to administer the <br />upcoming Fargo School Board election. Also, notices of five-year delinquent property <br />taxes will be delivered by the Sheriffs Department. <br /> <br />16. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />letter from Hill Township Board dated April 15, 2003, and response from commission <br />chairman regarding a burned bridge between Sections 11-14, Hill Township; <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation letters on alert priority bridges, request for <br />comments on a highway ditch maintenance cleanout project along 1-94 from the <br />Mapleton Interchange to Drain 14, and notice of bid opening in Bismarck at 9:30 a.m. on <br />May 16th for two Cass County projects on the Sheyenne River; <br />letter from Orville Iwen and response from County Auditor on tax equalization meeting; <br />notice of hearing at 8:00 a.m. on May 20th at the Lake Region State College, Devils <br />Lake, ND on an application to drain water from Devils Lake to the Sheyenne River. <br /> <br />17.
