Commission Minutes--May 5, 2003 2585 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MAY 5, 2003 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present as follows: John Meyer, Robyn Sorum, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. Darrell Vanyo was absent. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The chairman asked Bonnie Johnson to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Meyer seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting of April 21, 2003, be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the order of the agenda as printed. Motion carried. 5. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Sprina load restrictions discontinued, with some exceptions MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to discontinue spring load restrictions for Cass County highways on May 12, 2003, except for the following: Cass 10 from Casselton to Cass 11 (Class 1) and Cass 6 from Cass 5 to State 18 (Class 1). On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, Approved for Dokken & Schroeder Post 223 MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to grant a site authorization permit to conduct games of chance under license issued by the North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period of July 1, 2003, through June 30, 2004 as follows: Dokken & Schroeder Post 223 at the Erie Legion Hall. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for St. Maurice's Catholic Church Youth Group MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve a charity local permit for St. Maurice's Catholic Church Youth Group to be held May 10 to June 22, 2003, at St. Maurice's Catholic Church in Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 8. ELECTION INSPECTORS, Approved for Farao School District election MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the 2003 Fargo School Election inspectors, according to the list provided by the County Auditor's Office. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
