METRO FLOOD DIVERSION PROJECT <br /> <br /> <br />ED_CONTRACTINGRECOMMENDATION_MFDA-HMG-TO26-A1_2019-0131 1 <br />Executive Director Contracting Recommendation Date: 01/31/2019 <br />RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: <br />The Co‐Executive Directors have reviewed and recommended approval of the following Contract Action(s). <br />SUMMARY OF CONTRACTING ACTION: <br />Per the contract review and approval procedures that were adopted by the Diversion Authority on November 10, <br />2016 and amended August 23, 2018, the Owner’s Program Management Consultant (PMC) or Engineer of Record <br />(EOR) is directed to prepare task orders and task order amendments for existing Master Services Agreements <br />(MSA) and submit them to the Co‐Executive Directors for review and action. <br />The PMC has prepared the following Contract Action(s): <br />Houston-Moore Group, LLC <br />Task Order 26, Amendment 1 ‐ Work‐In‐Kind (WIK) $541,306 <br /> Add budget for SEAI Local Drainage, Transportation, and Utility updates <br /> Add scope and budget for SEAI Design Reviews <br /> Extend Period of Performance (POP) to December 31, 2019 <br /> <br />BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION: <br />Houston‐Moore Group, LLC (HMG) has provided Work‐in‐Kind engineering services under Task Order 8 from <br />June 14, 2012 through the end of 2017. Work‐In‐Kind services are now being performed under Task Order 26. <br />The project alignment changed as a result of the Plan B recommendations of the Governor’s Task Force working <br />group. The scope of work for this task order is to update the SEAI local drainage, transportation, and utility plans, <br />and provide professional services to review USACE designs. <br />The POP ended December 31, 2018.
