Responsible Department: Cass County Engineer's Office Develop Partnership and Outreach Programs The Cass County Engineer's Office will investigate the feasibility of forming partnerships with other governmental organizations, educational entities, and nonprofit organizations to promote storm water pollution prevention. Measurable Goals: $ Number of outside entities partnering in storm water pollution prevention efforts/activities. $ Number of actions taken as a result of partnerships with outside entities. Responsible Department: Cass County Engineer's Office Develop Plans for Public Input and Opinion The Cass County Engineer's Office will present the storm water management information at a local public meeting. At this annual meeting, Cass County will accept public input and opinions on the adequacy of this SWPPP prior to submitting the annual report to the North Dakota Department of Health (NDDH). This meeting will be held at the Cass County Courthouse, and notice of a county public meeting will follow the Cass County established procedures and processes for oral statements or written submissions ensuring an equal opportunity for full and fair consideration. The meeting notice must be provided 30 days prior to the meeting and will reference the Cass County SWPPP. The notice will include the date, time, location of the meeting, a description of how the meeting will be conducted, and the location of a public copy of the county SWPPP. This notice will be sent to NDDH and all appropriate county officials and published in the local newspaper. All public input and opinion (written and oral) will be considered by the Cass County Engineer's Office, and adjustments to the SWPPP shall be made where appropriate.
