Commission Minutes--January 6, 2003 2544 14. HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for Weed and Vector Department trucks MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order in the amount of $19,991.00 for one 2003 Dodge Ram 1500, 4x4 pickup truck for the Weed Control Department from Corwin Chrysler Dodge in Fargo. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order in the amount of $8,520.00 for one 2000 Chevrolet S-10 pickup from Nereson's in Moorhead to replace Vector Unit 902. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 15. INFORMATION SERVICES, Purchase order for HTE Asset Manaaement software MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the purchase of HTE Asset Management II software at a cost of $9,180.00 with training and support paid as incurred, and to authorize the chairman to sign the purchase order. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 16. BINGO/RAFFLE PERMITS, Kindred FFA: Sandhills Archers: Kindred Lions Club MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve a bingo permit for the Kindred FF A Chapter to be held at home basketball games from January 1, 2003, through April 30, 2003, at the Kindred High School in Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve a raffle permit for Sandhills Archers, Inc. to be held January 15, 2003, at the Sandhills Archers Club, West Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve a raffle permit for the Kindred Lions Club to be held April 5, 2003, at the Kindred High School in Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 17. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Award certification for JAIBG funds MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the award certification for JAIBG (Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant) funds submitted by the Cass County Juvenile Crime Enforcement Coalition. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 18. BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS, Approved for 2002 budaet MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the budget adjustments for the 2002 budget, according to a letter from County Auditor Michael Montplaisir dated December 27, 2002. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
