Derby <br />Profile <br />Since joining CPS HR Consulting in 2003, Pam Derby has conducted a wide range of recruitments <br />for county, city, special district and association executives including city attorney, executive <br />director, general manager, city manager, assistant and deputy city manager, police chief, <br />community and economic development director, human resource director, finance director, city <br />administrator, registrar of voters, library director, and director of information technology in <br />addition to specialized support positions. <br />Ms. Derby recently placed the Program Administrator for the Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement <br />Program for the Washington Department of Transportation. This is a $3.1 billion that includes a <br />two-mile-long tunnel beneath downtown Seattle; a mile-long stretch of new highway that <br />connects to the south entrance of the tunnel; a new overpass at the south end of downtown that <br />allows traffic to bypass train blockages near Seattle’s busiest port terminal; demolition of the <br />viaduct’s downtown waterfront section; and, a new Alaskan Way surface street along the <br />waterfront that connects SR 99 to downtown. The program includes projects led by the <br />Washington State Department of Transportation, King County, the City of Seattle and the Port of <br />Seattle. The Federal Highway Administration is also a partner in this effort.
