HMG_TO10-A8_Long 1 <br />This is Task Order No. 10, <br />Amendment 78, consisting of 5 pages. <br />Houston-Moore Group, LLCTask Order No. 10, Amendment 87 MFDA Purchase Order No. 152025 <br />Utilities Design and Identification - Outlet to I-94 (North), I-94 to Staging Area (South), and Red <br />River Levees Project Areas <br />In accordance with Paragraph 1.01 of the Agreement Between Fargo-Moorhead Flood Diversion Authority <br />(“Owner”) and Houston-Moore Group, LLC (HMG) (“Engineer”) for Professional Services – Task Order Edition, <br />dated March 8, 2012 ("Agreement"), Owner and Engineer agree as follows: <br />The parties agree that in the event of a conflict between prior versions of this Task Order No. 10 and this <br />Amendment, the terms and conditions in this Amendment shall prevail, provided however, nothing herein shall <br />preclude ENGINEER from invoicing for work authorized under prior versions of this Task Order and performed prior <br />to effective date of this Amendment, even to the extent such prior work was revised by this Amendment. All other <br />terms and conditions shall remain the same and are hereby ratified and affirmed by the parties. <br />1.Specific Project Data <br />A.Title: UTILITIES DESIGN and IDENTIFICATION - OUTLET to I-94 (NORTH), I-94 to STAGING AREA <br />(SOUTH), and RED RIVER LEVEES project areas. <br />B.Description: Provide utility relocation plans, utility relocation services, utility relocation designs <br />when required, utility relocation support services, relocation determination and performance <br />specifications, for the relocation of utilities from the Diversion Outlet at the Red River (Station <br />0+00) through (Station 901+00) at I-94 (NORTH), from I-94 (Station 901+00) through the <br />Diversion Inlet, Embankments, and Staging Area (SOUTH), and the RED RIVER LEVEES project <br />area. <br />C.Background: Various utilities such as power lines, communication lines, gas lines, and water lines <br />have been identified and located within the proposed Diversion Channel footprint, <br />embankments, Staging Area, and Red River levee project area, or will cross the Diversion <br />Channel, and there may be additional utilities that have not yet been identified. These utilities <br />will have to be relocated or abandoned prior to construction of the Diversion Channel, <br />embankments, Staging Area, Red River Levees, and appurtenant structures. Some utilities will be <br />relocated by contractors under contract with the Diversion Authority, while others will be <br />relocated by the utility owner. <br />Currently identified utilities in the North Section include: <br />I.Overhead power (9), buried power (4). <br />II.Buried fiber optic (4), buried copper wire (7). <br />III.Buried natural gas (2). <br />IV.Buried water (8). <br />Anticipated utilities in the South Section include: <br />I.Overhead power, buried power. <br />II.Buried fiber optic, buried copper wire. <br />III.Buried natural gas.DRAFT
