<br />1. Prepare for and attend four (4) coordination <br />meetings and Commission meeting. <br />2. Develop bridge design concepts for prefabricated <br />and pre-stressed options, at-grade crossing <br />concepts, and coordination with landscape design. <br />3. Prepare visualizations and graphics for City <br />Commission Meeting. <br />4. Provide a summary report. <br />ix. Provide soil characterization for Case Plaza lot, conduct <br />geo-probes and soil characterization to determine if soil is <br />suitable for re-use on the project. <br />x. Provide additional design services for flood wall including wall <br />aesthetics and accommodation of future pedestrian bridge. <br />xi. Provide additional planning and design services and <br />coordination to integrate design with the new Fargo City Hall <br />project. <br />ix.xii. Provide additional design services to prepare multiple bid <br />packages to accommodate construction phasing of flood <br />control features. This includes additional design, plan <br />preparation, and design reviews. <br />3. Value Engineering Study (VES) <br />a. Facilitate a VES in accordance with USACE guidelines (up to 3 days) <br />with staff from the Diversion Authority, Program Management <br />Consultant (PMC), and USACE. Prepare and distribute materials and <br />documents, facilitate the workshop, and prepare a VES report. <br />4. 4th Street Levee Pump Station Replacement <br />a. Background: At the November 8, 2012 Diversion Board meeting, the <br />Board requested the USACE add levees long the Red River to allow <br />increased flow through the protected area. To allow 35 feet through <br />town, the 4th Street levee requires certification. In order to meet <br />certification criteria, the stormwater pump stations on the north end <br />of the levee must be replaced. <br />b. Detailed Plans and Specifications: Provide design services and prepare <br />detailed plans as described below. <br />i. Complete detailed project engineering and design and <br />provide plans and technical specifications (Division 2 and <br />higher) for the 4th Street Levee Pump Station. Include <br />required surveying, Section 408 permit (if required), removals <br />and demolition, geotechnical and hydraulic analyses, internal <br />flood control and pumping, levee systems, closures, traffic <br />evaluations, service road realignments, public and private <br />utility relocations, landscaping, drawings and specifications, <br />internal QA/QC, design documentation, operation and <br />maintenance plan, and project management and <br />coordination.
