AWD SUMMARY

AWD-00035 Add $ 100,000 4th Street Levee Pump Station Replacement
Description:
Begin preliminary work on soil borings, planning, and VE study for 4th Street levee pump station design.
Background:
At the November 8, 2012 Diversion Board meeting, the Board requested the USACE add levees long the Red
River to allow increased flow through the protected area. To allow 35 feet through town, the 4th Street
levee requires certification. In order to meet certification criteria, the stormwater pump stations on the
north end of the levee must be replaced.
This AWD authorizes soil borings, planning, and VE study work tasks to begin. The complete scope and fee
for the pump station replacement design will be included in a new Task Order No. 13, Levee Design and
Design Support. This task order is under development.
Cost incurred under this AWD is not to exceed $100,000.00.

TASK_ORDER_SUMMARY_2014-0213.DOCX 5
