COUNTY DEED <br /> <br />This indenture made this 6th day of January, 2003, between the County of Cass, North Dakota, <br />party of the first part, and Randolph D. Peterson, 260 3"~ Avenue West, Hunter ND 58048, party of <br />the second part, witnesseth: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described was acquired by the county through tax deed <br />proceedings for the nonpayment of taxes levied and extended against said property for the years <br />1997 to 2001 inclusive, with interest and penalties, and an estimate of the 2002 taxes, amounting <br />to the sum of One thousand one hundred ninety-nine and 31/100 ($1,199.31) dollars; WHEREAS, <br />said real property was offered for sale, and sold, pursuant to authority to law, on the 19th day of <br />November, 2002, and at said sale, said second party became the purchaser of the whole thereof, <br />for the sum of One thousand one hundred ninety-nine and 31/100 ($1,199.31) dollars, which has <br />been paid in full; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the said county as party of the first part, in consideration of the premises, <br />and pursuant to authority of law, hereby assigns, that certain real property situated in Cass <br />County, North Dakota, described as follows, to wit: <br /> <br />The South 50 feet of Auditor's Lot (2)of the NE¼ of Section 23, Township 143, North of <br />Range 52, West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Cass County, North Dakota <br /> <br />Tax Parcel Number: 16-0700-13393-000 <br /> <br />To have and to hold the above described real property with all of the appurtenances thereunto <br />belonging to the said party of the second part, Randolph D.
