COUNTY DEED <br /> <br />This indenture made this 6th day of January, 2003, between the County of Cass, North Dakota, <br />party of the first part, and Dean Goehdng and Michael Fornshell, #41 West Lynmar Ddve, <br />Fargo ND 58102, parties of the second part, witnesseth: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described was acquired by the county through tax deed <br />proceedings for the nonpayment of taxes levied and extended against said property for the years <br />1997 to 2001 inclusive, with interest and penalties, and an estimate of the 2002 taxes, amounting <br />to the sum of Five hundred fifty-one and 98/100 ($551.98) dollars; WHEREAS, said real property <br />was offered for sale, and sold, pursuant to authority to law, on the 19th day of November, 2002, <br />and at said sale, said second parties became the purchasers of the whole thereof, for the sum of <br />Nine hundred and no/100 ($900.00) dollars, which has been paid in full; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the said county as party of the first part, in consideration of the premises, <br />and pursuant to authority of law, hereby assigns, that certain real property situated in Cass <br />County, North Dakota, described as follows, to wit: <br /> <br />A tract of land in the SE ¼ lying Westerly of U.S. Highway 1-29 in Section 24, <br />Township 142, Range 50, Cass County, North Dakota <br /> <br />Tax Parcel Number: 40-0000-05502-020 <br /> <br />To have and to hold the above described real property with all of the appurtenances thereunto <br />belonging to the said parties of the second part, Dean Goehring and Michael Fomshell, heirs and <br />assigns forever. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF Scott Wagner and Michael Montplaisir, as chairman of the board of <br />county commissioners and county auditor, respectively, of said county, hereby do set their hands <br />the day and year first above written and do cause the seal of said county to be affixed thereto. <br /> <br />Cass County, North Dakota <br /> <br />SEAL <br /> <br />Chairman <br />Cass County Commission <br /> <br />Cass County Auditor <br /> <br />I certify that the re~ir~ent for a report or stat~ent of full <br />consideration paid does not apply because this deed is for one of <br />the transactions ex~pted by s~division F of s~section 6 of <br />Section 4 of Senate Bill 2323 (1981). <br /> <br />Da~e ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
