<br />Commission Minutes-November 18, 2002 2532 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOVEMBER 18, 2002 <br />1, MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: John Meyer, Donna Schneider, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and Alon Wieland. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Chairman Wieland asked John Meyer to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the following additions: 1) contracts with the Cities of <br />Casselton and Kindred for police service; and 2) annual leave carry-over <br />for seven employees in the Sheriff's Department. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. BEER AND LIQUOR LICENSES, Renewed for 2003 <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to renew county beer <br />and liquor licenses for 2003, subject to submitting the appropriate <br />application forms and license fees, with review and approval by the <br />State's Attorney, the Sheriff and the respective township boards: On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Brenda Hocking, Club 94, Casselton <br />Richard and LaVonne Schroeder, Bronco Bar, Chaffee <br />Wild Rice Bar & Grill, Inc., Wild Rice <br />Tatonka, LLC, Knickerbocker at Hickson, c/o Christopher J. INSURANCE PORTABILITY/ACCOUNTABILITY, Appoint HIPAA privacv officers <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to appoint the following <br />Privacy Officers for HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and <br />Accountability Act) Compliance: Kathy Hogan for Social Services, <br />Bonnie Johnson for Personnel and Mike Montplaisir as the general <br />Privacy Officer; and to forward the names to the North Dakota <br />Association of Counties. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />7. OMITTED ASSESSMENTS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add Lot 41 Block 1, <br />Woodbury Park Addition to the City of Fargo, as omitted property for <br />
