I. Family Planning: Services are available at Fargo Cass Public Health for <br /> all residents of Cass County at no charge to the county. <br /> <br />3. LABORATORY SERVICES: <br /> <br />Laboratory services are available to all residents of Cass County. Hemoglobin, <br />cholestarol, urine, pregnancy testing, and ail cultures for sexually transmitted <br />diseases are provided. Tests for HIV and hepatitis are also done. Water <br />samples from private wells; community and nomcommunity wells (Federal <br />designation for certification under Safe Drinking Water Act) are tested for nitrates <br />and coliform bacteria. Standard plate counts and coliform are done on <br />swimming pool waters and soft-serve ice cream. <br /> <br />4. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES: <br /> <br />Fargo Cass Public Health will provide the expertise, facilities, equipment, and <br />staff necessary to review, inspect, analyze, permit, and enforce the various local, <br />state, and federal statutes and regulations governing environmental health <br />issues within Cass County. The principal areas to be enforced under this <br />agreement shall include, but are not limited to, the following: <br /> <br />Water Wells: Perform such periodic sampling, analysis, and reporting to <br />assure community and non-community water wells comply with applicable <br />health standards and regulations. <br /> <br />Waste Water Stabilization Ponds: Perform such monitoring, inspecting, <br />and reporting as may be necessary to assure community sewage <br />treatment systems comply with applicable health standards. <br /> <br />, C, <br /> <br />On-Site Sewage Treatment Systems: Jssue such permits, perform such <br />testing and inspection, and monitor such installations and repairs of <br />site systems as necessary to assure compliance with applicable health <br />standards and regulations. County specifically retains the right to <br />promulgate, amend, and repeal the on-site regulations to be enfomed <br />under this Agreement. <br /> <br />Solid Waste: Perform such periodic inspections and reports on waste <br />handling sites and waste haulers, including verifications of licensing, as <br />required to assure compliance with applicable health standards and <br />regulations. <br /> <br />Nuisances: Respond to citizen complaints and perform such inspections, <br />samplings and analysis as may be required to verity compliance with <br />applicable health, safety, public nuisance, or other statutes, regulations, or <br />ordinances enacted in the public interest. <br /> <br /> <br />
