<br />AMENDMENT TO <br />AGREEMENT FOR PROVISION OF HEALTH SERVICES <br />FOR CASS COUNTY BY <br />FARGO CASS PUBLIC HEALTH <br /> <br />Cass County and the City of Fargo, previously having entered into an Agreement for <br />Provision of Health Services for Cass County by Fargo Cass Public Health, hereby <br />agree to an Amendment of that Agreement as regards ParaQraphs 5 and 9(B)(2) and <br />(3) only, as follows: <br /> <br />5. CORRECTIONAL HEALTH CARE: <br /> <br />Fargo Cass Public Health will provide health services to inmates under the <br />standards set forth by the National Commission on Correctional Health <br />Care. Staffing will include one full time nurse manager to manage the <br />correctional health services and carry out jail nursing functions, 1.5 FTE <br />registered nursing staff, and one FTE Medical Assistant and 1.5 FTE <br />licensed practical nurses. The nurses will work under the medical <br />direction of the contracted physician (presently contracted with physicians <br />at the Family HealthCare Center). The services will also include HIV <br />testing and counseling, required by law. (North Dakota Century Code 23- <br />07-07.5) <br /> <br />9. BILLING FOR HEALTH SERVICES: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Annual Budget: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />2. An annual budget, for fiscal year 2005, for Correctional Health Care <br />in the amount of $249,664. <br /> <br />Addition of subparagraph 3, of paragraph 9 as follows: <br /> <br />3. The annual operating budget for Public Health Services and <br />Correctional Health Care, for each fiscal year after 2005, shall be <br />that amount as prepared and submitted to and approved by Cass <br />County. <br />
