RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A 24-MONTH MORATORIUM ON THE DESTRUCTION <br />OR REMOVAL OF HISTORIC LANDMARKS COMMONLY CALLED THE CASS COUNTY <br />JAIL AND SHERIFF'S RESIDENCE <br /> <br />A group of citizens has asked the Cass County Board of Commissioners to establish a 24- <br />month moratorium on demolition of the old Cass County Jail and Sheriff's Residence. The <br />first reading was held September 16, 2002. A second reading is set for October 21,2002, <br />at a meeting of the Cass County Board of Commissioners, beginning at 3:30 PM, in the <br />Commission Room, Cass County Courthouse, 211 9th Street South, Fargo, North Dakota. <br /> <br />Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 16th day of September, 2002. <br /> <br />Alan Wieland, Chairman <br />Cass County Board of Commissionem <br /> <br />PUBLISH: SEPTEMBER 23, 2002 <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION: <br />Move to accept OR reject the resolution for a 24-month moratorium on the jail and former <br />sheriff's residence, as presented to the board of commissioners. <br /> <br /> <br />
