a change in the pay policy on June 23, 1987, and the policy will stand. <br />Concerning the Blue Cross -Blue Shield contract renewal for 1988, <br />Diana Murack recommended adding routine mammary screening to the <br />County's health care policy at an initial start -up cost of <br />approximately $5,640.00. Blue Cross -Blue Shield representatives <br />will be present next week regarding the 1988 contract renewal. <br />Concerning the contract with Dan Martinsen, Inc. for medical <br />benefits consultant services, Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton <br />seconded to not renew the contract with Dan Martinsen, Inc. for the <br />remainder of 1987 and for 1988, and that the Chairman write a letter <br />to Mr. Bob Kosta of Dan Martinsen, Inc. requesting an hourly rate <br />for consultant services in the event that the County would request <br />such services in the future. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Upon the recommendation of Bonnie Johnson, Child Support <br />Administrator, and Sheriff Donald Rudnick, Mr. Larson moved and Mr. <br />Eckert seconded to change the percentage of salary and fringe benefits <br />for Deputy Dean Fercho from 50 -50 to 75% paid by the Sheriff's <br />Department and 25% paid by the Regional Child Support Enforcement <br />Unit, effective January 1, 1988. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Upon the recommendation of County Planner Jerry McCullough, Mr. <br />Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Tom Garske of Forest River <br />Subdivision be appointed to serve on the southside sewer committee. <br />Motion carried. <br />Diana Murack reported that the County has received rebates from <br />Northern States Power Company for a total of $4,192.50. <br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Vouchers <br />No. 80439 through No. 81324 be approved and ordered paid. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />The Commissioners reviewed a list of terms on various boards <br />which expire December 31, 1987, as follows: County Surveyor, County <br />Park Board, County Planning Commission, Community Action Agency, Maple <br />River and Southeast Cass Water Resource District, Human Services Board <br />and Fargo Planning Commission from the extra territorial area. <br />Appointments will be made no later than <br />January 5, 1988. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to receive and file <br />a letter of resignation from Tom Archbold, who served as an Advisory <br />Member to the County Planning Commission, and that the Chairman send <br />a letter of thanks for his service. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to grant approval <br />for a raffle permit for the Kindred National Honor Society on January <br />18, 1988, at the Kindred School. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
