Mr. Peter Xenides, Professional Building Services, Inc., <br />reported to the Board on the high evaluations his janitorial service <br />received upon taking a survey of the employees of the Courthouse. <br />He noted that his firm has placed a notebook in each office, and this <br />has been a good source of communication between County employees and <br />his staff. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to adopt the 1988 <br />Salary Schedule for Elected Officials, according to a print -out <br />provided by the Administrative Assistant on this date. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Chairman <br />be authorized to sign a Salary and Pay grade Form for Jeanne Vasichek <br />as Eligibility Specialist I in Pay Grade 11 at a salary of $6.70 per <br />hour, for the period of time to be specified by the Social Services <br />Board. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and file <br />the letters from Attorney General Nicholas Spaeth and from Neil <br />Fahlsing, Corrections Specialist, regarding the annual inspection <br />of the Cass County Corrections Center; and to forward the Certificate <br />of Compliance to the Sheriff's Office. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Stanton stated that the County Planner's position was not <br />funded for the month of December, but the work schedule would warrant <br />him working part -time during the month of December. Mr. Larson moved <br />and Mr. Sondrall seconded that Jerry McCullough, County Planner, be <br />authorized to work 28 hours per week for three weeks in December. <br />Mrs. Stanton amended the motion to authorize 28 hours per week for <br />four weeks in December. Mr. Eckert seconded the amended motion, and <br />it carried on roll call vote with all members voting "Aye <br />On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br />
